Engagement Manager

What would your role look like?

Project Light was launched in 2023, and we are still in the early stages of our journey. We are looking for entrepreneurial individuals who are aligned with our purpose and passionate about building an organization to bring that purpose to life, starting with our Advisory business: Transfiguration Advisory.

You would join Transfiguration Advisory as an Engagement Manager. During the first phase of your career with us, your role would focus on working with current leaders, supporting them in transforming their organizational culture within our advisory division. You will be expected to learn and develop quickly, evolving into a deep organizational culture expert, deciphering the hidden structures within organizations to unlock their full potential.

Most of our clients are based in the Middle East, and this is expected to continue for at least the next five years due to the level of transformation happening in the region. In the long term, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to other projects, supporting both conscious and future leaders to achieve their highest goals in the Balkans and the Middle East.

What would you do?

Lead Client Engagements:

- Lead culture transformation projects focused on the Middle East, with full accountability for end-to-end engagement delivery.

- Develop deep ‘trusted advisor’ relationships with clients over time.

- Develop junior colleagues through on-the-job coaching and mentoring.

Build the Organization:

- Client Development, Knowledge, and Backbone Priorities.

- Lead proposal development for current and new clients.

- Develop and codify cutting-edge knowledge in cultural transformation.

- Support backbone priorities, such as recruitment, branding, and internal process optimization (related to our five signature processes).

Spend two months a year deepening your competencies across our “Culture Transfiguration Catalyst” Leadership Development Model.

- A dedicated development guide and development plan tailored to your needs.

- Team development retreats (e.g., PL 6 monthly Silent Retreats).

- Relevant training and conferences for cutting-edge insights.

- Personalized support from our team and individual coaches to guide your journey.

Requirements

How do you know this role is for you?

You are a successful mid-career consultant looking for something more. With 3+ years of experience at a top-tier strategy or organizational consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG, OW, Korn Ferry, Mercer, etc.), you have developed the consulting toolkit and lead projects as the project/engagement manager. You have a passion for organization, HR, people, and culture-related projects, but these projects are not always easy to be staffed on. You are great at what you do, and you are on your path to partner – yet you ask yourself: is this it?

You are ready to move beyond the fact-based rigor of making well-structured decks to becoming a coach, facilitator, and a systems and culture change expert. You are ready to move beyond focusing on financial performance to impacting holistic organizational performance via people and culture – making a difference to the bottom line, the physical health of employees, and a net positive impact on the environment.

You are ready to move beyond consulting to an entrepreneurial inner social impact platform, where all your work is contributing directly and positively to a lighter and more beautiful society.

You have the right profile:

- Expertise: Strong grasp of business (strategy, transformation, value drivers) and at least a passion for people topics (HR, people, culture, engagement)

- Skills: The consulting toolkit, including problem-solving, storylining and document structuring, end-to-end process leadership, team leadership, top-down communication, and client leadership

- Languages: Fluent in English and a Balkan language; Arabic is a plus

- Attitude: Proactive, curious, quick learner, detail-oriented, confident with ambiguity, impact-driven, gritty

- Mindsets: Everything is possible, creative/taking ownership, finding win-win solutions, collaborative, and fair

- Connection: A deep personal connection to the Middle East or the Balkan Peninsula is a plus

- Growth edge: Ready to move beyond consulting and build a new client service model

Location, Availability, and Benefits:

- This is a full-time role. You will be based in Belgrade or Dubai, with frequent travel or relocation to the client location (most likely in the Middle East) for the duration of client engagements.
