Product Manager (AI / Fintech / Accounting)

About the opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to lead the development of a new AI-powered SaaS platform for accounting firms.

This is a true 0→1 product opportunity. You'll work directly with the founders to shape the product strategy, validate ideas with customers, define the roadmap, and lead the product from concept to market.

The platform is envisioned as the operating layer for modern accounting firms—a central hub connecting accountants, their clients, and the software they already use. Rather than replacing existing accounting or payroll systems, it will integrate with them, helping firms streamline communication, orchestrate workflows, automate repetitive processes, and unlock the potential of AI across their day-to-day operations.

The product is backed by experienced founders and secured funding, with a strong focus on rapid execution. As one of the first key hires, you'll have a rare opportunity to shape not only the product itself, but also the way the product organization evolves as the company grows.

What you'll do:

• Own the product from discovery through delivery

• Work directly with founders to define product vision and strategy

• Build a deep understanding of accounting firms' operational workflows and customer pain points through continuous discovery and user research.

• Translate business problems into product requirements

• Define and prioritize the product roadmap

• Collaborate closely with engineering, design and AI teams

• Drive product discovery, validation and MVP development

• Define product success metrics and iterate based on customer feedback

• Stay on top of trends in AI, fintech and accounting technology

• Define how AI can be embedded into the product to simplify workflows and improve the user experience.

• Help establish product processes as the company grows

We're looking for someone who has:

• 5+ years of Product Management experience

• Experience building B2B SaaS products

• Strong domain experience delivering products in one or more of the following areas:

  • Fintech

  • Accounting software

  • Payroll

  • Financial operations

  • ERP systems

• Experience taking products from idea to launch (or joining at a very early stage)

• Strong product discovery and customer research skills

• Experience working closely with software engineering teams

• Excellent prioritization and stakeholder management skills

• A data-driven approach to product decisions

• Excellent communication skills in English

Bonus points if you have:

• Technical background (Software Engineering, Computer Science or similar)

• Experience working with AI-powered products or LLM-based solutions

• Experience integrating products with third-party accounting or ERP systems

• Understanding of bookkeeping, accounting or payroll workflows

• Startup or scale-up experience

• Experience building workflow automation products
