WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Experienced purchasing professional

Good communicator with developed negotiation skills

Team player who is exciting to work in the global team

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Leads the sourcing process for the supply of components for new projects

Works with Nidec Global Buyers to identify the best source of supply for new components

Ensures components are available for prototype motor production on time, until PPAP's are signed

Oversees the start-up process of component production at the supplier on time

Responsible for achieving the cost target for new components

Looks for opportunities to reduce component prices by making technical changes at the design stage

Coordinates the component validation process with other departments

Responsible that supplier is signing NDA, LOI and Logistic Protocol

Ensures the implementation of the results of negotiations with suppliers (ensures prices and invoices are in line with the terms of the agreement)

With the support of SQA/CE improves supplier quality through regular meetings with suppliers

Ensures correctness and completeness of all purchasing data in SAP

Accepts invoices for payment

Implements and complies with purchasing procedures

OUR REQUIREMENTS:

University degree in Economics or similar field

3 and more years of relevant work experience

Work experience in automotive industry will be considered as an asset

Good command of English language

Excellent communication and negotiation skills

Familiarity with SAP would be considered as an asset
