Lead Mechanical Engineer
Workforce has partnered with Stirg Metall, a part of Austrian group STIRG METALLBE-UND VERARBEITUNG GMBH a company recognized for the development, production, and distribution of high-quality metal components and assemblies. Known for its precision, flexibility, and commitment to tailor-made solutions, Strig Metall supports clients across various industries with a strong focus on innovation and continuous improvement. To support the continued growth of their team in Inđija, Workforce is looking for an experienced engineer to take on the role of:
Lead Mechanical Engineer
(Inđija)
Job Description:
· Design and develop accurate 3D models using CAD software, ensuring functionality, manufacturability, and compliance with project requirements
· Create detailed workshop and assembly drawings that guide production and ensure precision in manufacturing and installation processes
· Prepare, organize, and maintain complete technical documentation, including specifications, manuals, and revision histories, ensuring consistency and easy traceability
· Lead and coordinate technical projects from initial concept to final delivery, managing deadlines, resources, and communication among internal teams and external stakeholders
· Collaborate closely with suppliers and clients to clarify technical requirements, resolve design issues, and ensure alignment throughout the project lifecycle
· Conduct comprehensive cost estimations for parts, assemblies, and systems, factoring in materials, labor, and production methods
· Prepare clear and competitive technical and commercial offers, supporting sales efforts and contributing to the successful acquisition of new projects
Requirements:
- University degree in Mechanical Engineering (VII-1)
- Minimum 5 years of experience in mechanical design, engineering or similiar positions
- Advanced knowledge of English language (spoken and written) is required

- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
