Sales Performance Management (SPM) is a line of business within Customer Success division of SAP. We create products aimed at our customers' Sales and Marketing teams. SPM is a sales commissions suite of tools helping our customers process sales commissions payment. Our best known product is SAP Incentive Management (formerly SAP Commissions). We are a market leader in the niche but important suite of business applications - our products are used by 25% of Fortune 100 companies in 41 countries.

 

We are looking for a System Engineer / DevOps engineer to join our team in Serbia.

What you'll do:

• Provision, configure, manage and troubleshoot Linux servers
• Perform changes across multitude of Linux servers (Ansible automation)
• Basic management of virtualization infrastructure (VMware Vcenter)
• Handling cross-infrastructure topics to perform tasks related to infrastructure integration
• Research, recommend and implement new infrastructure solutions
• Second and Third level support for infrastructure services
• Work with other functional groups to deliver the results (build or troubleshoot infrastructure topics)
• Contribute to and manage projects
• Participate in Maintenance Window and on-call duties
• Assign and resolve requests from the ticketing system, adhering to SLA (Service Level Agreement)
• Write up RCAs (Root Cause Analysis) when applicable
• Develop, document and implement Operations processes and procedures

What you bring:

• Knowledge in Linux system administration
• Knowledge in Ansible automation and/or BASH scripting
• Basic Networking skills
• Experience with Windows, Networking, Storage and/or VMWare ESXi is a plus
• Familiarity with SAP asset inventory and infrastructure security tools (CCIR; BMC BladeLogic) is a big plus
• Any IT certification in Linux/Infrastructure/Networking topics is a plus
• Experience with configuration management tools (Jenkins, Rundeck) tools is a plus
• Required fluent knowledge of Serbian and English languages
• Required residence in Serbia

SPM creates, implements and supports its own products. SPM CloudOps is a team which deals with the infrastructure needed to support our applications. Our infrastructure environments are running in data centres and HyperScalers. The team is located in USA, Serbia and India.
