What you will be doing:

PHP Developer’s main responsibility is managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. In this role, you will be working on our flagship affiliate website AskGamblers.com that is one of the leading and most reputable in iGaming industry.

• Build and maintain the backend part of our web application
• Monitor quality of code, troubleshoot application and code issues
• Refactor, optimize and improve the existing codebase for maintenance and scale
• Perform code reviews and ensure high standard of code quality
• Resolve bugs, work on improvements, and feature implementation
• User authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments

Who we are looking for:

• You have a degree in Computer Science, or skills and experience to match
• You have been working in web development for 3 years and have experience with server-side and client-side application development
• Working experience with Docker, Redis, ElasticSearch
• Strong knowledge of PHP web frameworks (Symfony is our preferred choice)
• Excellent understanding of concepts such as OOP, Namespace, Traits & Design Patterns
• Experience with relation databases & NoSQL database (MongoDB is our preferred choice)
• Advanced knowledge of REST API architectures
• HTML / CSS / JavaScript will be considered as an advantage
• Experience with Git and/or other SCM system; solid knowledge of GitHub
• Familiar with JIRA or other project management and task system
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
