- Design and implement resilient Kafka clusters to enable seamless real-time data processing.
- Monitor and optimize performance and scalability for enhanced efficiency.
- Implement security measures to protect data integrity.
- Document and promote best practices and configurations within the Kafka ecosystem.
- Mentoring junior team members
Education and Experience
- State University degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Proven expertise (3+ years) in Real-Time Data processing
- Experience with Kafka Connect and Kafka Streams
- Proficiency in one or more scripting languages such as Python, Java or Shell
- Preferred familiarity with AWS or other cloud platforms
