Hi, I’m Jaume, the founder of BizFlats .

At BizFlats, we make owning an Airbnb property easy.

We handle everything for property owners, from booking requests to fixing any issues that pop up during a guest's stay. If a guest needs help with check-in, a window won’t open, or the place needs a good clean, we’ve got it covered.

Our small team of five people, plus our amazing cleaners and service crew, work together to ensure every property shines and every guest has a great experience. We're passionate about what we do and love making things easy for our clients.

We're getting busier with new projects and could really use some help to take things off our plate.

That's where you come in.

We're looking for a Property Rental Coordinator who speaks great English (and maybe a bit of Spanish, or is keen to learn) to join our friendly team and help us keep everything running smoothly.

As our Property Rental Coordinator , you'll play a key role in growing BizFlats by delighting our guests with prompt, personalised service and freeing up our team from coordination and customer service tasks.

This role is perfect for someone who loves working with people, is highly organised, and enjoys variety in their daily tasks.

Responsibilities will include:

🌟 Guest Relations

  • Communicate with guests throughout their stay via written messages and occasional WhatsApp calls.
  • Address customer requests with empathy, common sense, and a knack for problem-solving.
  • Handle incidents by routing them to the right people, logging them, and ensuring they’re resolved.

📊 Internal Projects

  • Research best practices and approaches.
  • Source and manage relationships with service providers and vendors.
  • Use insights from customer interactions to suggest and implement product/service enhancements.

📅 Service Coordination

  • Schedule housekeeping, check-ins, and maintenance with our service providers.
  • Prioritise tasks to make the best use of resources and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain logs of actions and related costs.

🗂️Founder Assistance

  • Manage the founder’s agenda and provide updates on ongoing projects.
  • Create monthly reports and assist with record-keeping and invoicing.

Working Hours ⏰:

This is a full-time role, requiring 40 hours a week based in the European time zone. There’s flexibility in working hours, but some weekend work will be necessary possibly every other weekend. The role demands responsiveness to issues as they arise, so your workday might include a couple of hours in the morning and a couple of hours in the afternoon, with flexibility throughout the week to accommodate your schedule.

To excel in this role, you need to have:

📞 Customer service experience

🤝 Great interpersonal skills

💡 Common sense and understanding the mindset of different types of travellers

💛 Empathy balanced with the ability to handle the occasional unreasonable request with grace

🔧 Ability to propose improvements to work processes as an ongoing user

📚 Willingness to learn and implement new strategies

Brownie points for:

🗣️ Good Spanish/Catalan communication skills or interest in learning/improving them

🏨 Previous experience in hospitality, especially holiday rentals

🏡 Experience as a user of holiday rentals/Airbnb/VRBO and similar platforms

🌍 Knowledge of travel distribution

📱 Experience with using Instagram/TikTok as marketing tools

We're looking for someone who’s quick to respond and always courteous and professional with our clients. You’ll be juggling lots of different requests and priorities, making sure everything runs smoothly for everyone involved.

You’re the type who follows through and makes sure tasks get done on time and to a high standard. You have a positive "can do" attitude and love going the extra mile to make our guests happy.

You bring a personal touch to everything you do, even when using tech tools. Plus, you've got a great sense of humour and can build rapport and trust with everyone you interact with. If this sounds like you, we'd love to have you on our team!

What’s in it for you?

  • 💰 €1300 - €1700 per month*
  • 🌴 Full-time & fully remote - work remotely from anywhere you prefer!
  • 🌟 Travel to Barcelona or other locations for training and team building.
  • 🌴 PTO: 20 days of vacation time + 5 sick days off
