As a Senior Frontend Engineer at Yokoy, you will play a crucial role in developing and enhancing the Yokoy software (SaaS), advancing the technology and scalability, and ensuring a seamless user experience as well as optimal performance. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet their clients' needs and exceed their expectations. What you’ll do:

• Your role involves refining, planning, and developing new frontend features as part of our Invoice engineering team. 
• You collaborate closely with our designers to consistently enhance design and user experience. 
• You develop and maintain robust, efficient, reusable, and scalable frontend components using modern web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, Angular). 
• You will get the opportunity to take ownership of projects and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment. 
• You will participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and foster knowledge sharing within the team. 
• You will troubleshoot and resolve frontend issues and bugs promptly. 
• You will mentor junior developers and contribute to the growth of the engineering team. 

What you’ll need:

• You’re an accomplished Frontend Engineer with a track record of web development. 
• You have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
• You are proficient in one or more modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2+, Node.js. 
• You have a strong expertise with HTML5, CSS (incl. Precompilers like Sass). 
• You have a good knowledge of web components. 
• You have experience with RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming. 
• You are a problem-solver with a “can-do” attitude and an increased attention to detail. 
• You have excellent communication and collaboration skills. You enjoy working in a team setting and ideally, you’re interested in coaching and mentoring junior members of the team. 
• You are fluent in English; other languages are a plus.
