The project is about development and testing SW/HW components and tools for LiDAR based perception module for Autonomous Driving (AD) according to V-Model, AUTOSAR, FuSa and other mandatory AD concepts and standards.
Responsibilities
Role Summary
The vehicle architect is responsible for defining, maintaining and extending test vehicle networks.
The main goal is to integrate LiDAR and its infrastructure into the customer's target vehicle architecture.
Vehicle architectures and LiDAR models may vary depending on the client. The focus of this position is vehicle network.
Responsibilities include the feasibility study, acquisition, installation and configuration of networking devices,
in-vehicle reference systems for functions, cameras, integration devices and ECU’s.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and understand data delivered by multiple vehicle ECU’s in order to assess their performance
Definition, Installation, configuration and maintenance of test vehicle architectures and networks
Present technical solutions and performance reports to internal management
Technical responsibility of defining automation for data testing and validation
Development of clean, readable, maintainable and optimal testing scripts
Plan and estimate tool development and implementation tasks
Develop Continuous Integration (CI) processes for automating unit testing and execution of the tools
Support the tooling team with integration and pipeline improvements
Skills
Must have
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
Proficiency in Linux systems and Ethernet based network administration
Knowledge of networking protocols (ETH/BRR/VLAN/IP/TCP/UDP/CAN, etc…)
Familiarity with automotive standards and analysis tools such as Vector CanOE
Comfortable working with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, JavaScript or CAPL
Use of agile methodologies, as well as code reviews and source control mechanisms (GIT)
Ability to work in a cross-functional environment and share knowledge
Proactivity and result orientation
Experience with native programming and UI frameworks, such as C++/QT or web
interfaces (HTML/JS/CSS), is a plus
Nice to have
HTML, Qt Framework, Web Interface, JavaScript, Git, CAPL, Automotive Testing, Agile Methodology, Cascading Style Sheets (CSS)
