Job Description

Develop measuring methods in cooperation with engineering, manufacturing, purchasing organization and suppliers (metrological proposals regarding determination of specifications, measuring programs and descriptions, planned measuring devices etc.)
Contact partner for project management quality and Engineering in terms of measuring topics. Early involvement in creation of specifications. Gives inputs for improvement of measuring feasibility
Analyze measuring problems internal and external. Self-organized problem solving with external suppliers in case of measuring differences. Implementation and validation of final measures
Compiles future demands for the laboratory in terms of measuring devices and competencies
First contact for Measuring Technicians in terms of measuring topics. Transfers necessary knowledge to associates
Ability to work in a two-shift model
Proposes new measuring devices and softwares with following new technology and digital transformation
Supports and conducts software installations and updates, creating new user names, adding new softwares on measuring devices
Support the complaint management area by measuring of potential failure parts

Qualifications

Desire to grow in your role and with the company
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or comparable (preffered)
First experience in Automotive industry is an advantage as well as knowledge about 3D-coordinate machines (CMM) and PolyWorks
Good knowledge of English in business contexts (written and spoken)
Ability to read and understand technical drawings
Good knowledge of the common MS-Office applications
Systematic and analytical way of working, resilience, ability to work in a team, independency, proactivity
