While most of these positions require English as an additional language, knowledge of other European languages is a strong plus.

General Ledger Accountant:

A General Ledger (GL) Accountant records and verifies financial transactions in the company's main accounting system - SAP. They process journal vouchers, post bank statements, business travel expenses, corporate credit card transactions, fixed assets, and intercompany reconciliations, to name a few. They also work on the monthly and annual financial closing of the books. The GL accountant collaborates with other teams to ensure compliance with accounting rules. During the month-end close, they handle accruals, deferrals, provisions, exchange rates, goods in transit, and other similar tasks. All of this is done in cooperation with their client / SBU (sales business unit they support). This role also involves supporting audits and contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting.

Accounts Payable Accountant:

An Accounts Payable (AP) Accountant receives, reviews, and verifies invoices for accuracy and compliance with company policies in the company's main accounting system - SAP. They match invoices with purchase orders and receipts, prepare and process payments, and ensure vendors and suppliers are paid on time. The AP accountant maintains vendor records, resolves discrepancies, and responds to vendor inquiries regarding payments and invoices. They also ensure proper coding of invoices to the correct accounts and cost centers and reconcile accounts payable transactions. As part of the monthly and annual financial closing, they prepare AP reports and support compliance with tax regulations and internal controls. They maintain organized documentation for audits and reporting. The AP accountant collaborates with other teams to ensure compliance with accounting rules and works closely with their client / SBU (the sales business unit they support). This role also involves supporting audits and contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting.

Accounts Receivable Accountant:

An Accounts Receivable (AR) accountant ensures the timely and accurate processing of customer invoices, incoming payments, and related financial transactions in the company's main accounting system - SAP. An AR accountant handles invoice creation, payment application, credit and debit memos, and account reconciliations, while maintaining customer records and resolving billing or payment discrepancies. Timely collection and proper allocation of cash receipts is a standard. The AR accountant also maintains customer credit limits, prepares compensation, releases blocked sales orders in alignment with Group policies, monitors customer aging reports, and supports compliance with internal controls and applicable revenue policies. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure adherence to accounting standards and work closely with assigned clients / SBUs (Sales Business Units) to support accurate billing, collections, and revenue recognition. Depending on clients' requests and complexity, an accountant might assist with reconciliations and other AR-related tasks during the month-end close. This role also involves supporting audits and contributing to the accuracy of financial reporting.
